Upcoming Concerts at Cal State Fullerton

Late spring and early into the summer is the perfect time to get active and start doing things around your city. The days are longer (it’s not getting dark until 8pm) which is awesome and leaves us enough with enough time to actually do stuff after work. If you are looking to attend a few concerts over the next few months, the Cal State Fullerton orchestra has a full state of dates and various events that will keep you entertained well into the fall. Here are three upcoming concerts taking place on the CSUF compass over the next few weeks. Most of the events are free and open to the public.

How To Throw An Oscar Party

The 88th Annual Academy Awards are scheduled to take place this Sunday, February 28th at 5:30 PM PST. If you are a pop culture junkie who looks for any excuse to throw a party, the Oscars are a great reason to host a get-together at your apartment. Here are a few tips for throwing a great Oscars party.

Create your own Ballot: download an Oscar ballot template and have your guest predict the winners. Present the person with the most points at the end of the night with a bottle of wine or tickets to the movies.

Bow tie napkins: get fancy with your décor and create bow tie napkins. The process is simple and will really spice up your party.

Red-carpet photo booth: everyone loves a good photo opportunity, so create a red carpet photo booth with fun props so your guests can Snapchat and Facebook away.
