Summer is all about grilling and cooking outdoors. Even if you are not hosting any cookouts, making dinner on the grill is a great way to beat the heat. Here are three simple summer BBQ tips to try during your next meal.
Preheat: make sure to preheat your grill for 15 to 20 minutes before you start cooking. Once the temperature reaches the 400-degree range you’ll be ready to start searing your meat.
No flipping: the key to grilling a fantastic piece of meat is to put it on the grill and not mess with it. Many times our first instinct is to constantly flip the meat; but doing so will only release the juices and cause an uneven cook.
Indirect heat: cooking chicken is always difficult. Try placing the bird meat on the top rack and let it cook with indirect heat. The meat will be juicer and taste much better.
